Abstract: S5, as one of Airwheel new electric self-balancing scooters, enjoys very good reputation after new product release conference. Here are the all-around evaluations so as to further know about S5.
On June 18th, Airwheel hosted new product release conference and issued two types of new self-balancing electric scooters: S5 and A3. The following will give all-around evaluations of one of them: Airwheel S5 SUV electric scooter.
Appearance
The first impression of Airwheel S5 is big and it is indeed bigger than S3. In fact, S5 adopts 16-inch Cheng Shin tyres, while S3 uses 14-inch ones, but the adopted tyres of S5 are much wider and thicker. Thus, many people feel that S5 is much bigger than both S3 and S3T by naked eyes. S5’s tough appearance design style satisfies off-road image perfectly. Besides, both fenders of two flanks and aluminum alloy shaft are demountable.
Performance
The battery capacity of S5 is enhanced largely, which can support as long as 50km if it is fully charged. At the same time, the rated power and maximum instantaneous power are 500W and 1500W respectively. Generally speaking, the operating modes of S5 and S3 are the same, which is turning on the main switch first and starting it by remote control. When it comes to the riding speed, S5 is a little faster than S3, whose speed is ranging from 16km/h to 20km/h. Meanwhile, the speed limit protection device will sound the alarm as soon as it reaches 16km/h.
Unique APP
According to Airwheel R&D team, they are developing S5-related APP, which can be downloaded to the phone and monitor the real-time data of self-balancing scooter conveniently. Besides, such functions as updating and aligning the scooter as well as changing the speed limit protection standard will be realized via the APP. Airwheel official replies such an APP will be developed for consumers in the near future.
In short, Airwheel S5 personal transporter is praised as a high-end SUV scooter in the self-balancing electric scooter sector.
